Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how BioCore handles information when you use our health and wellness app. BioCore helps users record wellness information, view personal trends, and use camera-based heart-rate or pulse features.
Key Points
- Your health records are kept on your device and are not uploaded to our cloud servers.
- Camera permission is used only while you actively use camera-based heart-rate or pulse features.
- We do not take photos, record videos, store camera images, or upload camera images to the cloud.
- We use a device identifier and limited crash information only to understand crashes, fix bugs, and improve app reliability.
Information You Save in the App
BioCore may let you enter or view wellness information such as blood pressure, blood sugar, pulse or heart rate, weight, BMI, dates, notes, and trend history. This information is stored locally on your device. We do not operate a cloud account system for these health records, and we do not upload them to our servers.
Camera-Based Features
When you use a heart-rate or pulse feature that relies on the camera sensor, the app may request camera permission. The camera is used to support the active measurement process on your device.
- The app does not create photo files or video recordings for this feature.
- Camera frames are not saved as pictures or videos.
- Camera data and heart-rate detection images are not uploaded to our cloud servers.
- You can disable camera permission at any time in your device settings. Camera-based features may be unavailable after permission is disabled.
Device Identifier and Crash Diagnostics
To keep the app stable, we may process a device identifier together with basic technical crash information, such as app version, operating system version, device model, crash time, and crash stack information. We use this information only to detect crashes, analyze errors, protect app security, and improve performance.
We do not use your local health records or camera data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.
Retention and Deletion
Health records and app preferences remain on your device until you remove them. You can delete local data in the following ways:
- Delete individual records in the app, if the app provides a delete option for that record.
- Clear BioCore app data from your device system settings.
- Uninstall BioCore from your device.
Crash logs and device identifiers used for diagnostics are kept only for the period needed to investigate stability issues, maintain security, and satisfy legal or operational requirements. If you contact us by email, you may ask us to delete that email conversation.
Service Providers
We may use trusted diagnostics or crash-reporting service providers to process limited technical information on our behalf. These providers are used to help us find crashes and improve app reliability. They are not given your locally stored health records, camera images, photos, or videos by us.
Your Controls
- You decide whether to enter health or wellness records into the app.
- You can grant or revoke camera permission through your device settings.
- You can remove local app data by deleting records, clearing app data, or uninstalling the app.
